Cris is the Chairperson to the Board. He is an ex-prisoner who is currently a Presidential Advisor. He devotes his time providing moral and spiritual support to other ex-offenders who are willing to turn their life around. He advises on strategic linkages and guides strategic thinking on prisons and prisoners.

About our Founder

Shadrack Magara who spent 24 years in prison, 15 of which were on death row. His incarceration was triggered by reckless and delinquent behaviour as a youth. By age 17, he was deeply involved in drug abuse which led him into promiscuity, and later worry that he had contracted HIV&AIDS. While in prison, he tested negative for HIV, and this was his turning point. At the time of his release, he was afraid to return to the mainstream …
